TOM A. FREELOVE
Tom’s creative vision was born from a background in Fine Art. As an undergrad he studied studio art and music. Tom discovered photography while serving in the military during the Viet Nam war. Photography immediately became his preference for creative self-expression.
Tom’s journey with photography began by shooting film and working the darkroom. Then, in the ‘90s, it transitioned to digital with post-processing images on the computer. Tom’s relationship with photography has spanned over five decades and has provided him a wealth of experience and knowledge. Then as a teacher, Tom was able to share that knowledge while inspiring his students to open the door to their own creativity, something he found to be uniquely rewarding.
Tom’s work has appeared in publications, exhibitions and has been represented by galleries in the Midwest and in New Mexico, where he now lives.
